EAT THAT: SPINACH

Lately I’ve been trying to eat a lot healthier, I’ve been doing a few things around the kitchen and replacing a few items that you would usually use, a good example is lettuce. Instead of using lettuce on sandwiches and other things you would typically use it on I replace it with spinach. Also try throwing it into a smoothie, you don’t even notice that it’s there! With the amount of nutrition that comes packed in these leafy greens it is a good choice for you to make the switch as much as you can. Down below I have added a few facts on why you should be eating this amazing stuff.

WHY YOU SHOULD EAT SPINACH

FACT: Spinach is good for nourishing the eyes and the bones.
FACT: It helps the stomach out with digestion and protects its mucus lining and flushes out toxins from the colon
FACT: COOK IT… Half a cup of spinach will give you just as much nutrition as RAW spinach. Plus it also increases health benefits.
FACT:  Got dry itchy skin? NOT A PROBLEM with regular consumption spinach can help relieve those issues

Now you can eat slightly healthier… you’re welcome

CHICKEN !?

Alright so I had left over chicken breast with the bone, with some lemons onions and chicken broth so I just decided to whip it together and see how it tasted. Honestly it’s not too bad for what I had to work with

Chicken (Boneless, Bone) doesn’t matter as long as it’s chicken
Chicken Broth 1 cup
Lemon 1 lemon (sliced)
Onions (diced)

So everything is going to be made in one pan, Simple and easy.  Place chicken into pan and pour some chicken broth into the pan.

Throw in your sliced onions and sprinkle some salt and pepper onto the chicken.

Place the sliced lemon onto each individual chicken.

STUFFED ROASTED CHICKEN

Okay so you're at home with a whole chicken not knowing what the hell to do with it tired of the same old plain chicken. So if you're feeling like that I like the way I was feeling just scroll down a little and see the easy and simple stuff chicken that I have found searching the Internet(this recipe I got from watching one of Gordan Ramsays cooking shows online but I changed a few things). This recipe is honestly too simple, but it will impress the people that you serve it too making it seem like your some gourmet chef.

Ingredients:
1 Chorizo sausage, diced If you can’t find this you can use any type of sausage
1 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic
sun dried tomatoes
fresh thyme
1 can of white kidney beans

1 whole chicken
1 lemon
paprika
salt & pepper
1 cup white wine *cooking wine will do*
1 cup water

                                            GATHER YOUR INGREDIENTS SON

Directions

Fry the Chorizo in a little olive oil. Add the onion, garlic, thyme and sun dried tomato. Slow fry for 20 minutes.

Rub that chicken down with some paprika get it all over it, and salt and pepper the inside of the chicken.
Stuff the chicken with the Chorizo mix and stuff a medium sized lemon in the back .

Put the cooking wine and water in a roasting pan, followed by the chicken. Make sure you cover it with foil nice and tight NO HOLES
400F for 1 hour.
Take the foil off and cook for the last hour so it can get golden brown
Cut and squeeze the lemon into the dripping – this is option I suggest you taste the dripping before you squeeze the lemon in. I personally didn’t squeeze the lemon in considering how lemony it tasted already

Cut the chicken up and pour over some of the dripping. Make a gravy with drippings.
JUST LIKE A BOSS, YOU’RE DONE!!!
