I found these Mousse Brownies on Pinterest the other night and I had to try them, originally the person who made these mousse brownies used mint chocolate because it was close to Christmas time. I decided to use regular chocolate in the mousse brownies instead of mint just because that’s what I had on hand. While making it I had a few hiccups here and there which ultimately made me start over, but once I got it right it actually turned out pretty decent. This recipe is actually easy, you get to cheat by making boxed brownies and the mousse is made in a matter of minutes. NOTE: If you can, use a spring form pan a regular pan will do but
Box Betty Crocker Ingredients (same as back of box)
Box Betty Crocker Original Supreme brownie mix (with chocolate syrup pouch)

1/3 c. water
1/3 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/3 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
Mousse Ingredients
3/4 c. whipping cream
1 c. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
3 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
Topping: 1/3 c. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
3/4 c. whipping cream
1 c. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
3 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
Topping: 1/3 c. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Instructions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom only of a10-inch spring-form pan with oil. Make brownie mix as directed on box (don’t put it into the oven yet)
Mousse
Instructions
Heat whipping cream and 1 Cup Semi-Sweet chocolate chips over
medium heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is
smooth. Cool slightly.
Now take another bowl and beat 3 eggs and sugar with electric
mixer until foamy (good luck doing this by hand); Now that the chocolate
mixture is cool stir it into chocolate mixture. Pour the chocolate mixture
evenly over brownie batter in pan.
Bake for about 1 hour and 5 minutes or until the top is set. Cool
completely, about 1 hour.Refrigerate until chilled.
Enjoy eating your Mousse Brownies made like a boss.
