If you are looking for a healthy snack on the go, then
almonds should be one of your first choices on the list of things to take. Almonds
can easily add to your cereal, trail mix, or have them on their own. The
recommended amount of almonds is about one hand full which is about ¼ cup, each
serving is about 162 calories. Let’s face it, if you’re like me you are not
going to stop at a handful. The recommended amount gives you about 13 grams of monounsaturated and
polyunsaturated fatty acids, 3.5 grams of fiber, 6 grams of
protein and 75 mg of calcium. All these
added benefits in almonds may decrease the risk of heart disease. Look down
